Good

The cleaning crew is really good, they thoroughly clean the rooms every day and provide a new set of towels. The staff is extremely nice and smiling all the time. The location is great, it’s in a quiet area of Lamai but still very close and walking distance to all the bars and restaurants. The Italian restaurant in front of the hotel’s entrance is excellent (it’s owned by an Italian) The hotel is also located right on the beach so it is very convenient. The rectangular pool is large and deep enough to swim. They also rent scooters at very competitive rates.

Some areas of the property could be improved. The plastic lounge chairs around the pool or at the beach are old and falling apart. There’s a bad sewer smell around the pool, especially in the afternoon. I wish they would clean the beach in front of the hotel.

Lovely place to stay ideally located

I like the layout of the villa and location on the beach and near the middle of town. The staff are professional and very nice. The room is well equipped and the bed comfortable.

I have stayed before and chose to come back as I had a great stay last time. I noticed the rooms are just starting to look a little worn although everything functioned fine.

Great overall facilities. Did not utilize hotel restaurant, as location has easy access to many others/variety nearby. I have stayed here a few times now, and will continue to leverage this hotel/location on future trips to Samui.

I liked the location. Right at the beach, very nice sand and warm water of course. Further I liked the offering in the restaurant, prices were very fair, and the pools, yes there were 2 pools. They were clean and enough space for everyone. Because the hotel is right in the heart of Lamai Beach, you could just go to any restaurants or night market by feet. If you still want to rent a motorbike its possible for 150 a day, really nice price.

Marina Villa had a really good location, helpful staff, food was also nice. Resort is at the beach with their own umbrellas and beds, had 2 pools and restaurant.

The time was big and spacious with a lovely balcony! The room was cleaned everyday along with new bottles of water. The staff were lovely and friendly. The massages were unbelievable and laundry service was fast as reliable

Convenient comfy accomodation

Accomodation located at Lamai beach and in easy walking distance to restaurants, pubs, clubs etc. comfy clean room with small balcony. Good shower and comfy bed

What was the highlight of Marina Villa

Nice hotel, clean room. The great part of the hotel is its right on the beach. Very nice location, central and near a lot of food choices. The pool was clean and the second pool was nice as well, yes two pools which my 2 year old loved. The room was fairly small, but with access to the beach why would you care about the size of the room--bed comfy, air worked and it had a nice little deck in the front.
